Huw Evans is a Partner at KPMG UK specialising in Insurance. He was previously Director General of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) from 2015-21 where lead the insurance industry’s response to Brexit and Covid-19, as well as helping set up Flood Re. Earlier in his career, Huw was a UK Government special advisor to Prime Minister, Tony Blair and Home Secretary, David Blunkett. He has served on the boards of TheCityUK, Insurance Europe and Flood Re and been a member of advisory bodies to the UK Government on trade and financial inclusion.
